摘要
New technologies can change the way we process and display medical data, which can fundamentally affect the correct diagnosis and treatment of various diseases. This paper maps the situation of new technologies in medicine, such as virtual reality and ways of using artificial intelligence in the last 6 years and proposes new approaches to the use of these technologies based on the experience gained so far in Slovakia and in the world. We focused mainly on diseases of the central nervous system such as diagnosis and treatment of tumours, Parkinson's disease and stroke related to our projects. In the last part of our case study we will evaluate the experience and results obtained so far in clinical studies in stereotactic radiosurgery operations. We will also evaluate the existing research activities in two hospitals in Slovakia and the possibilities of further research in our projects.
