Identification of extended Hammerstein model for renal hemodynamics

摘要
Recently a simple feedback model was developed to represent the dynamics of autoregulation of renal blood flow. In the model, the dynamics are broken into a static nonlinearity that determines a target vascular conductance and a linear system that describes the time course of the actual conductance as it follows the target. In this paper, an identification method is described to estimate these two components from measurements of renal blood pressure and flow rate. Via this approach, an accurate representation of the renal autoregulation is obtained while at the same time determining set of parameters from which physiological information can be deduced.
