摘要
Base on the consideration of system reliability, HVDC control and protect system and other larger industrial control systems tend to use redundant dual network communications channels network architecture. The difficulty of this communications architecture are the selection the correct channel as the main working channel to transmit process data, fault detection of the working network channel and how to switch over to the passive channel. This paper studies a new communication media-independent redundant communication failure detection and switching mechanism. It adopts a unified network failure criterion both on the recipient and sender to analyses the status data module data module which is encapsulated in the user data telegram, gather the communication status of the dual channels, achieve some functions include fault detection, fault diagnosis, network channel switch, in order to protect the reliable transmission of user data between the redundant network channels, greatly improve the HVDC control and protection system reliability.
