摘要
Interfacial molecular recognition: Systems consisting of an amphiphilic melamine-type monolayer and a non-surface-active pyrimidine derivative (thymine, uracil) dissolved in the aqueous subphase are representative model arrangements for molecular recognition. The formation of interfacial supramolecular entities changes drastically - and specifically - the characteristic interfacial features of the amphiphilic monolayer (see picture).
