Radical islam in post-soviet Russia

In 2014, there was a sharp aggravation of the terrorist situation in the world. Against the background of the European situation, the situation in Russia seemed very stable, but inevitably there was a fear of the spread of religious radicalism in the Russian environment. The article analyzes the radical-religious situation in Russia in the post-Soviet period, identifies active Islamic radical groups on the territory of the Russian Federation, determines the actions of the authorities to eliminate the terrorist threat and the social appearance of a radical terrorist.
