摘要
In view of the distinct advantages of deep tissue penetration of NIR-II light and the outstanding biocompatibility of conjugated polymers, the design and development of conjugated polymers with the ability of photothermal conversion in NIR-II window are extremely important for biomedical applications. In this focus review, based on the excellent features of photothermal conversion and NIR-II light, several key factors and related principles of developing conjugated photothermal polymers are proposed and discussed systematically. Accordingly, some illuminating conjugated NIR-II photothermal polymers are exemplified and highlighted. This Focus Review aims to provide another perspective for constructing highly efficient NIR-II photothermal conversion to expand the biomedical applications of conjugated polymers.
