摘要
An analysis is made of the maximum power multiplication factor Q, achievble in subignited Tokamak fusion plasmas where the burn is sustained by feedback controlled auxiliary heating. Using a 1-D model equation for the plasma temperature, simple analytical expressions are derived for the scaling of the maximum Q with relevant physical parameters. The results are also corroborated by comparison with numerical computations.
