摘要
This paper presents a novel kind of digital broad bandwidth microwave Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) generator which integrates the advantages of traditional digital and analog ones. The presented generator is composed of a digital algorithm part and an analog modulation part. The digital part generates base band pseudo-random sequence, while the analog part converts the sequence into microwave signal. Besides, careful modelings and simulations are also given, which are in accordance with the experimental results. The agreement between simulative and experimental results, such as 3dB bandwidth and in-band flatness, indicates the validity of the presented modeling method.
