Energy savings in laboratory hydraulic system operation with and without LS regulator

摘要
The main subject of the research was the comparison of different settings of flow rate in the hydraulic pump with LS regulation (Eaton Corporation USA, Medium duty) in dependence on the hydraulic pump power requirement. Another aim of the experimental part of this work was to compare power requirement of experimental hydraulic circuit with and without LS regulation using. The mechanical spring pre-load of a flow rate controller in hydraulic pump was adjusted to pressure 3,6; 2,6; 1,6 and 0,9 MPa. Using this set up of LS regulator in hydraulic circuit the flow rate parameters was changed by changing of two orifice gauges with holes' diameter of 2,0 and 2,7 mm. The last measurement was carried out without LS regulation. All measured data were statistically evaluated. It could be highly recommended using of hydraulic pumps with LS regulation. The change of the flow rate controller must be carefully considered with respect to safe machines operation and users requirements.
