摘要：

The present study aims to investigate the polycrystalline diamond as a suitable material for high efficiency, high-count rate, position sensitive detector for highly charged ions in the energy range 1-50 MeV/u. The results obtained indicate that the bulk polarization occurs and its influence on the detection efficiency can be estimated.
