We present a case of partial amputation of the forearm resulting in soft-tissue and radial artery defects that were simultaneously repaired using a large artery-vein-artery venous flap. The flap measured 4 X 11 cm, and we attribute its complete survival and long-term durability to the artery-vein-artery configuration. (J Hand Surg 2011;36A:1339-1342.
