摘要
An efficient and simple method for the synthesis of biologically active 14-aryl-14H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes has been achieved through a one-pot condensation of aryl aldehydes and beta-naphthol under solvent-free conditions in the presence of Sulfonic acid functionalized silica (SiO2-Pr-SO3H), as an efficient heterogeneous solid acid catalyst with excellent yields and short reaction time.
