摘要
Estimation of project effort is becoming a general issue for software companies. Among the estimation methods, neural network, which is emerging, can forecast in a higher accuracy theoretically. This research builds and trains a BP network based on 456 project samples, and compares the simulation result with that of linear regression model. The comparison shows that neural network fits the actual value better than regression model does.
