摘要
Taihangia rupestris (Rosaceae) is an endangered and beautiful cliff wildflower endemic to China. It is only disjunctively and sporadically distributed on cliff faces in the Taihang Mountains. In this paper, we sequenced its complete chloroplast (cp) genome by Illumina sequencing platform. Our study suggests that T. rupestris cp genome have a typical quadripartite structure with a length of 155,479 bp, comprising of a large single-copy region of 85,771 bp, a small single-copy region of 18,550 bp, and two inverted repeat regions of 255,79 bp, respectively. The cp genome has 36.8% GC content and includes 138 genes, of which 87 are protein coding genes, 39 are tRNA genes, eight are rRNA genes and four are pseudogenes. Phylogenetic analysis indicate that Taihangia is closely related to the genera of Geum.
