摘要
Purpose: We aim to examine the context of preparatory level students, particularly in Saudi Arabia. We are exploring two points. First, the extent to which subjective norms influence attitudes and perceived control toward changing students' intentions. Second, the influence of gender differences on attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived control. Methodology: We have integrated the theory of planned behaviour with the social feminine theory to underline our investigation using a sample size of 363 students at the University of Ha'il in Saudi Arabia. Findings: The results showed that subjective norms play an important role in determining attitudes and perceived control; the students showed more consideration for subjective norms in determining their intention to start a business in the future. Originality: We are motivated by the work of Camelo-Ordaz, Dianez-Gonzalez, & Ruiz-Navarro, 2016). We have extended their proposed limitations to reach an advanced level of understanding of the topic.
