摘要
The use of fluorogenic and chromogenic reagents for anions sensing is reviewed. This review is a comprehensive analysis about signaling of small anions using changes in fluorescence, luminescence, or color and will point out how the use of relatively simple molecules is leading to the development of new systems for the selective sensing of target anionic guests. These advances suggest that it would be possible soon to have selective reagents for screening a wide range of anions of environmental, biological, and medical importance.
