Some properties in solution of poly(acrylamide) synthesized in a magnetic field

摘要
Poly(acrylamide) was synthesized through the radical polymerization reaction in aqueous solution in the presence of a sacharide, assisted by a continuous magnetic field of 0.25 T. The study was concentrated on the evaluation of the magnetic effects on the development of the polymerization process compared with the classic conditions. The viscometric data in dilute solution are correlated with the polymer chain conformation, in connection with the process of synthesis. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
