EFFECT OF SPRAYING WITH NANO POTASSIUM FERTILIZER ON THE PHYSIOLOGICAL AND PRODUCTIVITY TRAITS OF WHEAT (TRITICUM AESTIVUM L.) UNDER SALINITY STRESS

摘要
A field experiment was carried out during the winter season 2020-2021 at the research station of the College of Agriculture, University of Al-Muthanna (Al Bandar region) to study the effect of spraying with nano potassium fertilizer and salinity levels of irrigation water on the growth and yield of wheat. The experiment was applied in a strip split-plot design with three replications, the spraying included three concentrations of nano potassium (3000, 6000, 9000 K ppm) and three concentrations of salinity of irrigation water (3, 6, 9 ds m(-1)). The results are as follows: the spraying potassium 9000 ppm exceeded significantly and gave the highest means plant height of 84.26 cm, number of tillers 354.10 teller m(2), flag leaf area 40.19 cm(2), spike length 9.89 cm, number of spikes 297.87 spike m(2). The number of grains 47.33 grains spike(-1), yield 4.96 tons ha(-1) and potassium content 0.62%. The increase in salinity level led to a decrease at level 9 ds m(-1) get the lowest means of Plant height 75.44 cm, number of tillers 316.77 teller m(2), flag leaf area 39.04 cm(2), length of spike 8.33 cm, the number of spikes 271.30 spikes m(2), yield 3.32 tons ha(-1) and potassium content 0.44%.
