摘要
Magnetic excitations in NaV2O5 have been investigated by means of inelastic neutron-scattering experiment using single-crystal samples. Excitations indicating steep dispersion along the chain direction (b-axis) are observed, with a gap energy of 10 meV around Q = (3, 0.5, 0). A splitting of the gap mode into two modes is observed as one changes the wave vector parallel to the a-axis, i.e., perpendicular to the chain direction. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
