摘要：

An improved OSNR monitoring technique for wavelength division multiplexed networks based on a polarisation-nulling method is reported, Unlike the previous techniques based on polarisation, the proposed technique was not sensitive to polarisation-mode dispersion and nonlinear birefringence.
