Experimental research on spontaneous combustion characteristics of main minable coal seam in Fengfeng mining area

摘要
For the purpose of obtaining spontaneous combustion characteristics of coal seam in Fengfeng mining area, five coal samples were collected and an experimental research using the cone calorimeter at a heat flux of 50KW/m(2) was carried out and the parameters of burning characteristics of samples were obtained. The experimental results are shown as follows: 1) heat release rate (HRR) and total heat release (THR) of the two samples (which collected from N0.2 and No.4 coal seam of Yangquhe coal mine) are higher than those of the other three samples, 2)the five samples demonstrate two kinds of different tendencies in the amount of CO released in the combustion, 3) the amount Of CO2 released by the sample of Yangquhe No.2 coal seam is lower than that of the other four samples in the course of burning, 4) smoke produce rate (SPR) and total smoke release (TSR) of the sample of No.4 coal seam of Yangquhe coal mine is much higher than those of the other four samples. The experimental results are significant for Fengfeng coal mining bureau to deal with coal seam spontaneous combustion.
