摘要
This study presents a new method to obtained cerium metal starting from NaCeF4. The method consists in electrolysis of the NaCef(4) containing fluoride and fluoro-chloride melts. The investigation of the decomposition potential of NaCeF4 in molten LiF-NaF, LiF-NaF-CaF2, LiF-NaF-BaF2, LiF-NaF-NaCl and NaCl-KCl was carried out at 730 degrees C.
