摘要
Based on the N-S equations for incompressible, viscous fluid and VOF method, the study built a 2D numerical wave tank in FLUENT. The paper analysed the velocity field around the twin floating body system and found the existences of primary vortex, secondary vortex and temporary vortex. The primary vortex came into being with the resonance, and the secondary vortex intensity was relevant to the energy in the gap. The temporary vortex was generated when the upper and lower part of the fluid in the gap dashed against each other. In the last part, the paper discussed the wave transmission of the adjacent twin body system and found the phenomenon of 'energy barrier', which came into being with the resonance. When the resonance happened, the gap acted as an energy transfer station and made waves with frequency around the resonance frequency transmit more energy to the rear of the floating bodies.
