摘要：

Purpose of present research is comparison of athlete and non-athlete female students of Tabriz Islamic Azad University. Present study is of causal-comparative or post-event type. Statistical society of present research includes female students of Tabriz Islamic Azad University from which a sample of 80 students (40 athletes and 40 non-athletes) is selected and Bar-On Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire is provided to them. Results analysis is done by t independent groups. Findings show that between the two groups there is significant difference in categories of self-eregard and liveliness (p < 0.05) (C) 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
