摘要
Synthetic V bearing steelmaking slags with different contents of TiO2 were solidified from melting temperature of 1530 degrees C. The effect of TiO2 on the crystallisation temperature and crystal growth of V concentrating phase is clarified by SEM and EDX and analysis of crystal size distribution. Results show that 2 center dot 2 - 4 center dot 2 wt-% TiO2 can lower the crystallisation temperature from 1350 to 1275 degrees C and crystal growth is enhanced but not linearly with the addition of TiO2.
