Archimedean T-norm and T-Conorm for Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Sets

摘要
Interval Type-2 fuzzy sets (IT2FSs) could be regarded as a feasible tool to cope with higher uncertainty. Archimedean T-norm and T-conorm (ATT) could offer the general operational rules for IT2FSs. In this study, we firstly analyze the drawbacks of the existing operations of IT2FSs. Then, in order to overcome the drawbacks of the existing operations of IT2FSs, we develop some novel operations of IT2FSs based on ATT. Additionally, some special cases about various additive generators are explored. The developed operations of IT2FSs are essential to propose the interval type-2 fuzzy aggregation operators for the multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) within the context of IT2FSs.
