摘要
[H5PV2Mo10O40] catalyzed oxidation of dithiols to related cyclic disulfides. Potassium permanganate as an oxidizing reagent under mild conditions was carried out in this reaction. This system provides an efficient, convenient, and practical method for the syntheses of cyclic disulfides. In this work, the comparisons among the Keggin and Dawson ions are addressed in term of relative stability hardness and acidity.
