摘要
Batch Electro-Fenton process with carbon felt cathode and mixed metal oxides plate anode has been applied to aqueous solution contains 50 mg/L of parachlorophenol. The effect of four important process parameters: ferrous ions concentration (0.1-1 mM), time (15-120 min), pH (1-5) and current intensity (100-500 mA) on Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) removal efficiency and energy consumption were investigated. Response Surface Methodology has been performed to design of experiment. Multiple response optimization found that maximum COD removal efficiency of 86.4% with minimum energy consumption of 4.2 kW h/kg COD was achieved at optimum conditions. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd.
