摘要
Density, viscosity, speed of sound and refractive index of the binary mixture of 2-methoxyethanol (2-ME) + diethylether, 2-ME + dichloromethane (DCM) and diethyl ether + DCM and the ternary mixture of 2-ME + diethylether + DCM have been measured at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure over the entire composition range. These results are used to calculate excess molar volume (VE), viscosity deviation (), deviation in isentropic compressibility (KS), excess Gibbs free energy of activation (G*E) and excess molar refraction (R) for the above systems. The calculated quantities are further fitted to the Redlich-Kister equation to estimate the binary fitting parameters and root mean square deviations from the regression lines. These excess properties have been used to discuss the presence of significant interactions between the component molecules in the binary and ternary mixtures. The excess or deviation properties were found to be either negative or positive depending on the molecular interactions and the nature of liquid mixtures and have been discussed in terms of molecular interactions and structural changes.
