摘要
The synthesis and crystal structure of N-(8-Quinolyl)-o-phenylenediamine were studied. During the synthesis, the crystals suitable for diffraction analysis were grown by recrystallization from acetonitrile. The crystal packing of the compound was determined by intermolecular N-H...N interactions, resulting in parallel rows of molecules along [100]. These values were found to be normalized for N-H = 1.03 Å.
