摘要
College English teaching is an important part of higher education. It not only plays an important role in the development of the country and society, but also is significant to the personal development of non-English Majors in colleges and universities. With the rapid development of information technology, the traditional English teaching methods have been less able to stimulate students' interest in learning; therefore, teachers must make some changes to their way of teaching. On the one hand, it is necessary to keep up with the times; on the other hand, it also can stimulate students' interest in learning. In recent years, the brand new modem teaching methods of Clipped Classroom, Micro-Lecture and MOOC are growing fast, and have been widely recognized and accepted, making up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching methods. Only the traditional teaching is combined with the modem teaching, can teachers better serve the teaching and education and improve the quality of teaching. This paper focuses on the three kinds of new teaching methods and analyzes their characteristics.
