摘要
To overcome the weakness of the wound-rotor brushless doubly fed machine (BDFM), including the reduction of the harmonic content and improving the utilization of conductor, a low-harmonic concentric wound-rotor BDFM is proposed in this paper. First, the design principle and method of winding are illustrated, and the distribution coefficient calculation method that is suitable for all kinds of winding is derived. Next, the calculation of the harmonic magnetomotive force (MMF) is described in detail with a design example. Then a prototype based on the example is fabricated for the experiment. In addition, the selection of the power winding (PW) and control winding (CW) for the stator is illustrated, and the harmonic content characteristics of the rotor winding is analyzed by experiment. The validity of proposed rotor winding structure design is verified by both finite element modeling and prototype experiment. Simulation and experimental results show that the design of proposed rotor winding structure for BDFM has excellent performance. (c) 2018 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
