摘要
In this paper, we develop a dual-task model of driving with a motor distraction task using the driver lateral control model based on the Queuing Network (QN) and Neuromuscular System (NMS). The comparison between the model simulation and experimental data from a driving simulator suggests that this computational model can perform driving with a secondary motor task well, and its performance is in agreement with the driver data under the dual-task driving condition. This proposed computational dual-task model can compute, simulate, and predict driving behaviors in dual-task situations, and thus has potential to help develop the design of in-vehicle devices.
