摘要
Male fertility can be affected by environmental and occupational exposures, including, industrial chemicals, radiation, toxic metals, low or excessive levels of trace elements and their interactions Oxidative stress can damage sperm and anti-oxidant nutrients can help improve sperm quality Psychological stress can have a significant impact on male fertility Phytochemicals that regulate sex steroids can help maintain prostate health, prevent male pattern baldness, and help maintain bone density Consistent with holistic treatment, scientific evidence suggests that combination therapies may be more effective than monotherapy Phytochemicals may have unwanted effects when used in isolation Plant polyphenols are promising for prevention and/or treatment of prostate cancer, e.g. from pomegranate and green tea
