摘要：

In this paper, the variable coefficients (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger equation (2D- VcNLSE) is investigated. The 2D-VcNLSE is transformed into the (1+1)-nonlinear Schrodinger equation using a similarity transformation. Using the solutions of the (1+1)-nonlinear Schrodinger equation we have obtained some solitons, rogue waves and breather solutions for the 2D-VcNLSE.
