摘要
Antisense aligonucleotides can down-regulate or specifically turn off individual genes and have therefore received much attention in the era of gene therapy. while effective in vitro, delivery in vivo has been problematic. This review focusses on the progress of polymeric, non-viral methods of antisense delivery and also describes some of the exciting potential clinical applications of this technology.
