摘要
In this paper a new symbol timing estimation scheme, that takes better advantage of the physical frames' structure, is presented. Herein, We first discuss the mathematical methods of channel estimation technique with lower complexity, then give an efficient symbol timing and channel estimation algorithm for the high rate WLAN based on OFDM, using the packet preamble structure adopted by IEEE802.11a. The proposed algorithm offers preferable performance for high rate WLAN based on OFDM and may also be used in other OFDM system.
