摘要
A mild, efficient, and general method for the synthesis of benzo[f]quinoline and benzo[a]phenanthridine derivatives by a three-component reaction of arenecarbaldehyde, naphthalen-2-amine, and cyclic ketone using iodine as catalyst is described.
