On the analyses of existing problems in traditional organization design, the article puts forwards two critical reasons: incomplete contents of traditional organization design and limitation of traditional organization mode. Accordingly it introduces the conception of "process-based organization design" (POD) and illustrates its characteristics, and then article discusses methods of POD, and it believes that organization design should take six important factors into account, such as strategy, process, structure and system, technology, policy system, and corporate. culture and employees. Finally the article puts forwards a systematic structure of continuous improvement of organization and a multiple-goal spiral-rising POD mode.
