The severe economic situation in the global economy, especially the economies of the developed countries, and the intensification of the geopolitical game lead to the rise of trade protectionism around the world. The trade war becomes the "important role" of trade protectionism in the current international trade. The rise of trade protectionism overshadowed the global economic recovery that was in its infancy, and the global countries have condemned trade protectionism. Since joining the National Trade Cooperation Organization at the beginning of this century, China has played an extremely important role in international trade on a global scale. China, as a responsible big country and the world's largest country of international trade in import and export, has always been uphold the objective and impartial cooperation and win-win attitude to actively participate in international trade, safeguarding the fairness and justice of international trade. But other countries have their own interests and strategic considerations, so in the short term trade protectionism is difficult to be completely eliminated from the international trade, and in order to be more active and steady to promote China's foreign trade strategy and to achieve the great concept of upgrading industrial layout in China, the research on green barrier in international trade barrier is necessary and has important practical significance. Through the analysis of the content requirements of environmental barriers in international trade, this paper expounds its influence on China's import and export trade and the countermeasures and suggestions that should be taken by China.
