摘要：
A large retroperitoneal liposarcoma (11,4 kg) in a 73-year-old male is reported. Malignant primary retroperitoneal tumors are rare. Liposarcomas are the most frequent group. They mostly produce nonspecific symptoms. At diagnosis they are often large. Intraabdominal compression syndromes result. Surgical treatment is recommended. But also after radical operation local recurrences are common and the prognosis is poor.
