An exothermic continuous stirred tank reactor (ECSTR) belongs to an attractive subject to apply advanced control methods due to its instability nature. This paper presents the virtual ECSTR and the original analogue model of this reactor. The control of virtual and analogue ECSTR is illustrated using a virtual controller and a real one, as well. This solution is more effective and safe as the real equipment operating. The following research will be focused on the development of new types of analogue and virtual non linear models of technological processes and virtual controllers.
