摘要
Sixty five experiments were carried out to measure and model the dynamic response of total heat production (W/kg(0.75)) of broiler chickens to variations in temperature (OC) and light (on/off) using mathematical identification techniques. Based on measurements of temperature and light from a data period of 48 hours the total heat production of the animals was predicted. It was demonstrated that by doing so, total heat production can be predicted 30 up to 75 minutes in future. The r(2) between measured and predicted total heat production ranged from 0.58 up to 0.88. By developing such modelling techniques the following step is to develop a model based controller.
