Synthesis and Spectroscopic Characterizations of Tb3+ Doped K2La(PO3)5 Luminophores

摘要
Novel green luminophores K2La(1-x)Tbx(PO3)(5) (x = 0.5, 1, 5 and 10%) activated with trivalent rare-earth (Tb3+) ions were synthesized via the flux method. The obtained compounds are characterized by X-ray powder diffraction and found to be crystallized in the monoclinic phase wherein its space group is Cc. The Fourier-transform infrared spectrum, photoluminescence spectra, and decay curves are investigated. The CIE chromaticity coordinates have been highlighted. The emission color of K2La1-xTbx(PO3)(5) can be tuned from blue to green by changing the terbium concentration. The most emission intensity was D-5(4) -> F-7(5) transition corresponding to the green band and the decay time associated was around 1 ms, suggesting potential applications in the fields of phosphor materials.
