摘要
Samples of nitrate-ion exchanged NaMOR (NaM) i.e., HNO3/NaM, NaNO3/NaM and Pt/NaM were prepared by ion exchange of NaM with respective nitrate precursors-HNO3, NaNO3 and [Pt(NH3)(4)](NO3)(2). The prepared samples were calcined at a temperature of T-c similar to 723 K in flowing air to decompose nitrate anions and then studied by temperature-programmed reduction (TPR) technique. A reduction peak around T-r = 830 +/- 40 K invariably appeared in TPR profiles of calcined samples. This peak is assigned to reduction of nitrate anions remained intact on the calcination and adsorbed on zeolitic sodium cations during the ion exchange. In addition, the calcined Pt/MOR sample showed a sharp peak around T-r = 360 K due to reduction of PtO in channels of NaM. (C) 2003 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
