Analysis of lossy Inhomogeneous Planar Layers using the method of moments

摘要
A new method is introduced to analyze lossy Inhomogeneous Planar Layers (IPLs) for both TE and TM polarizations. In this method, the integral equations of the IPLs, converted from their differential equations, are solved using the method of moments (MOM). It is assumed that the primary parameters are known at all or only at some points along the thickness of IPLs. The validity of the method is verified using a comprehensive example.
