摘要
This study is focused on several different products made of buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench), in the case of which selected mechanical and physical properties were determined and possible uses of this data as input parameters for DEM (Discrete Element Methods) simulations were assessed. The tested samples include buckwheat flakes, buckwheat flour, buckwheat porridge, and buckwheat hops. In the context of DEM simulation, which would provide innovative information in the fields of detailed analysis of materials transport processes, design of construction solutions, and other processing technologies, the particle size distributions were measured, and the parameters of the grain linear dimensions as well as flowability based on the angle of discharge, Carr's index, and the Hausner ratio were compared.
