摘要：

The main goal of the article is to determine the income situation of farms in the EU countries. The FADN database was used as a source of data. The study was conducted on the EU-15 as well as Central and Eastern European countries and spanned the period of 2004-2013. The following elements were analysed: net value added, family farm income and work productivity measured with the former two categories per one fulltime employee. The share of operating activity subsidies in the net added value was also calculated. The study showed that subsidies had key influence on the income situation of farms in the EU, especially in new member-states.
