Passive control for nonlinear time-delay systems using neural networks

摘要
This paper focuses on the passive control synthesis problem for a class of nonlinear systems with time-delay. By using the neural network as an off-line aided design tool, both the state feedback and dynamic output feedback controllers with certain dissipations are developed using the passive control theory in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI), which guarantees the closed-loop system asymptotically stable and strictly passive. It is shown that the solvability of passive controller design problem is implied by the feasibility of LMIs. A numerical example demonstrates the validity of the proposed approach.
