摘要
Various techniques from the areas of 'Multi-Media' (MM), 'Virtual Reality' (VR) and 'Computer Augmented Reality' (CAR) have been evaluated concerning their appropriateness for maintenance and training in e.g. power plants. In particular these are: CAR techniques for the support of maintenance personnel and teleoperation of service robots, motion parallax for achieving a three-dimensional impression, a '180 degrees screen' as a low cost replacement for the 'cave' technique, acid a graphic technique for interactive search in system documentation. The individual techniques it will also be discussed with respect to the requirements of the partial work processes concerned. Copyright (C) 2000 IFAC.
